Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri is the new film from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh. The film concerns a mother’s attempt to find justice for her murdered daughter by erecting three billboards shaming the local sheriff.
An all-star cast includes Francis McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, John Hawkes, Peter Dinklage and Lucas Hedges. The entire cast is on top form. 
The film is a hilarious black comedy with a surprising amount of heart. The characters are fully realised and compelling. Everything about the film’s presentation from the cinematography to the music is pitch perfect. McDonagh’s style translates to an American setting beautifully. It’s a film that balances its elements perfectly.
I reviewed Three Billboards for the London Film Festival and even declared it my favourite film I saw there. The film is due to release on 12th January 2018 and I hope it will be a big success, possibly even picking up some award nominations.
